What do you most like about being an international student?

I experienced different cultures and grow more patient, understanding, and loving. I got to know my second family better. I feel so loved by my host family and enjoy my time with them. They treat me as their own daughter and always support me. I respect them and love them very, very much.

How is your host city different than your hometown?

My host city has better theme parks; other than that I find that they are kind of similar. Both cities are very hot and humid!

What is your favorite subject in school?

None! That’s because I love all my subjects!! I got to take many challenging AP classes at school, which gives me direction for my future career path and the opportunity to learn different things.

What do you like best about your school?

The things I like best about the school are the teachers and some American students. I’m very thankful to have my teachers who are so encouraging, patient, and understanding. I feel very loved by the entire faculty.

What is your favorite activity outside of school?

I enjoy drama, musical theatre and chorus after school. During breaks, theme parks are my favorite place to go!!

What do you most like about being an international student?

There are many things I enjoy about being an international student; however, the thing that I am most grateful for is being able to have more opportunities in my life now that I’m a part of an international program.

How is your host city different than your hometown?

Gosh! I think there are so many things that differ between my hometown and the host city that I’m living in. However, I have to say the two things that are the most different to me are the food and the atmosphere. I’m enjoying experiencing both in my host city.

What is your favorite subject in school?

History!! I love learning about other country’s history. The history of the United States is so fascinating; there’s so much to learn!

What do you like best about your school?

What isn’t there to like!? I like everything my school has to offer!

What is your favorite activity outside of school?

Hands down the thing I love to do most outside of school is play volleyball with my friends!
