Each month we provide a coast to coast snapshot of some of our students in action!
Summer, a time of rest and splashing in the ocean or pool is just around the corner. Our last Student in Action for the school year is our very own Jiazhen who goes by Martin. Read on to find out more about our amazing scholar.

What do you most like about being an international student?
I really like that I can travel between two countries.
How is your host city different than your hometown?
My host city, Philadelphia is less populous than my country. The weather is colder here and the environment is better here as well.
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject in school is mathematics.
What do you like best about your school?
The school I attend has many international students just like me so I don’t feel lonely.
What do you like best about your host family?
I really have enjoyed getting to know them and being a part of an American family. It's been a great experience.
What is your favorite activity outside of school?
My favorite things to do outside of school are going to the gym and playing the piano.
