I love everything about being an international student. The thing that makes it easier to do my best as a student is having the support I need from my host family; they are very kind to me and I really like them.

How is your host city different than your hometown?

My hometown is definitely a lot colder than Tacoma, WA. This has taken some getting used to but I’m enjoying the difference.

I like learning, for me it helps me feel like I am growing and doing my best. But I also love hanging out with my friends too.

What is your favorite activity outside of school?

My favorite activity outside of school is watching basketball games and playing with my friends. I also love to hang out with my host family; they are really good to me.
