Getting to Know The Jordan's

Every monthly newsletter we like to bring our host family community together by showcasing a special host family. This month we are excited to introduce one of our long time families, Anastasia (Tess) Jordan and Michael (Mike) Cracchiolo.

Tess is a middle school science teacher by trade with multiple education degrees as well as an MBA. Mike enjoys his retirement but also works part time with a friend in food service. Active members of their community, Tess works part time tutoring students while Mike repairs windshields. Religion is essential to their lives, with Tess being Greek Orthodox and Mike being Catholic. Anyone who stays with The Jordan’s has the opportunity to live in a lovely large home, on a quiet cul-de-sac, with a large sports pool to lounge or play in.

Empty nesters Tess and Mike love hosting international students. With five children of their own, all grown and living throughout Florida, the Jordan’s revel in keeping their home active and lively by hosting international students on a regular basis.

Aside from regularly hosting high school students, The Jordan’s enjoy hosting their son’s dogs when he goes away on vacation. While having no pets of their own, they love spending as much time as possible with their four grandbabies. Family is very important to them with monthly family dinners once a month, tickets to football games, visits to theme parks, and other events on a regular basis.
