Short Term Month 2

Question 1. Please share about what your student has been up since arriving. Are there any highlights from time with the family, friends or school and activities?*

Question 2. Are there any areas in which you see your student has grown? This could be in any area. Maybe they are communicating more freely, improved language usage, made American friends, feels more comfortable in the home, knows how to navigate the area, has learned how to cook a meal or do their own laundry (some students have to learn!), etc.*

Question 3. Is there anything that your student would like to do that you plan to facilitate before he/she leaves? This could be an outing, activity, shopping for gifts, luggage, etc.*

Question 4. How has school academics seemed for your student? Easy or difficult? Any subject that needs more attention and any that they are more of a natural in? Does your student spend any time after school reviewing school work or doing homework? Often with short term students they are less academic due to the nature of the short term exchange experience.*

Question 5. Is your student talking about extending or returning to the school? If so please let your coordinator know along with any travel home plans and coordination.*

Question 6. Have there been any damages to your home in additional to regular wear and tear that you need to report?*

Question 7. Has your student broken the Twinn Palms Code of Conduct this month?*
